Quota reformists of Jahangirnagar University (JU) formed a human chain on Thursday demanding to arrange polls for the long cherished Jahangirnagar University Central Students' Union (JUCSU).
The leaders and activists made the demand at a human chain in front of JU central Shaheed Minar around 11.30am under the banner of ‘Bangladesh Sadharan Chhatra Adhikar Sangrakkhan Parishad'.
Convener of the platform of JU unit Shakil Uz Zaman said, “We, the students, are the main stake holder of this university. But it is a matter of regret that they are ignoring us in each and every way by stopping JUCSU election for 27 years.
