Jhenaidah district Student Welfare Association (Chhatra Kalyan Parishad) of Jagannth University (JU) organised a freshers’ reception, picnic and cultural event at a park in Jhenidah on Friday afternoon.
Chaired by organisation’s local unit president Regan Ahmed, Jhenidah-1 MP and president of Jhenidah Awami League Abdul Hyee attended the programme as the chief guest. Jhenidah municipality mayor and general secretary of Jhenidah Awami League Saidul Karim Mintu was the chief discussant in the discussion event.
Upazila Parishad Chairman of Kotchandpur Sharifunessa Miki, Kaliganj community policing forum general secretary Emdadul Haque Sohag attended as special guests. Forum Senior Vice President Safiqur Rahman Rana, joint secretary Nasim Reza, Organizing Secretary Samrat Akbar and Anisur Rahman Shishir among others remain present. Abu Sayeed Mohammad Manik conducted the discussion session.
