A new executive committee of ‘Dhwoni’, a recitation based cultural organisation of Jahangirnagar University (JU), has been formed for the next one year.
The new committee was formed through 'Two Era Anniversary Recital Festival -2020 Programme' on Tuesday at online platform.
Sami Al Zahid Pritom of Archeology department and Imran Muhammad Shahriar of Marketing department have been nominated its president and secretary respectively, a press release informed on Tuesday.
The former President Asadullah Al Galib announced the new committee.
The other members of the committee are- vice president Nabila Nur Momo and Mubassir Alam Uday, assistant general secretary Shimul Mitra, organizing secretary Khondokar Raihana Zuha, assistant organizing secretary Mahazabin Sowda Jahan, finance secretary Jahid Hasan, assistant finance secretary Israt Jahan Oishi, office secretary Monirul Islam, assistant office secretary Akramul Haque Aoron, literature and publication secretary Zinia Afroz Jhora, assistant literature and publication secretary Lima Akter, communication and publicity secretary Faiza Mehjabin Priyonti, assistant communication and publicity secretary Arifa Sultana Ritu, information technology and media secretary ATM Faysal Rabbi and assistant information technology and media secretary Sadia Sorwar Ullas.
The executive members are- Narmin Sultana Upoma, Jubayer Ahmed, Sadia Afrin Sumi, Jannatul Ferdous Oishi, Jubayer Al Sabab, Prottasha Sorkar, Mrittika, Sahara Asma Tuli and Sajiya Sharmin Saboni.
