Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC), Jahangirnagar University (JU) contingent, got a fresh leadership on Thursday.
Cadet Under Officer (CUO) Sohel Rana Hasib of English department has been made the Cadet In-Charge of JU BNCC contingent.
Teacher in-charge of JU BNCC Professor Under Officer (PUO) Taslin Jahan Mou and assistant teacher in-charge PUO Mahade Hasan Dipu jointly announced the names at a virtual farewell and charge ceremony on Thursday night.
Meanwhile, cadets from the 46th batch were bidded farewell.
PUO Taslin Jahan Mou said, “Hasib is an enthusiastic and humble cadet. We have confidence in him.”
“An ingenious cadet like him would take the contingent a long way forward,” she added.
PUO Mahade Hasan Dipu, assistant teacher in-charge of the contingent said, "We are happy to have Hasib as the new in-charge.
I hope he will bring a lot of success to the contingent by performing his duties with dedication. At the same time, good wishes to the recently former in-charges.”
The new cadet in-charge CUO Sohel Rana Hasib expressed his gratitude to the PUOs and the outgoing cadets and sought the cooperation of all the cadets in discharging their duties.
Mentionable, CUO Sohel is already serving as Cadet Adjutant of Charlie Company under 3 BNCC Battalion of Ramna Regiment.
