Journos’ cooperation sought in developing safe tourism

Newly-appointed Additional DIG of Tourist Police, Cox's Bazar region Md. Apple Mahmud interacted with the journalists. At this time, he sought the cooperation of journalists in developing safe tourism.

The views exchange meeting was held in the conference room of Tourist Police Building adjacent to Labani Point of Cox's Bazar beach Wednesday morning.  The new Additional DIG said, stopping harassing tourists on Cox's Bazar beach, stopping violence of brokers, stopping eve teasing, stopping serving adulterated food, banning the use of drugs on the beach is my priority. Apel Mahmood, a resident of Kishoreganj and the son of a freedom fighter, has earlier served as the official director of ASP Circle, Feni Circle, Rapid Action Battalion RAB-3, Additional Superintendent of Police, Natore, PIB District Head, Natore and Cumilla.
