Newly-elected Member of Parliament of Jamalpur-5 (Sadar) constituency and former Chief Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office Abul Kalam Azad held a press conference at Jamalpur Press Club on Tuesday night.
At the beginning of the meeting, Jamalpur Press Club President Hafiz Raihan Sada and General Secretary Lutfar Rahman flanked by their colleagues congratulated the MP. Later, Abul Kalam Azad MP spoke as the chief guest.
Under the chairmanship of Press Club President Hafiz Raihan Sada, district Awami League president and district council chairman advocate Muhammad Baki Billah and Jamalpur municipality mayor Chanwar Hossain Chanu spoke as special guests.

In the exchange meeting, the journalists shed light on various issues in the overall development of the newly elected MP’s district. Abul Kalam Azad gave assurance of taking necessary steps for the development of the district and sought cooperation of everyone including journalists.
