Two days after their mother's death, permanent members of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) Rezwanul Haque Raja, news chief of Maasranga TV and Borhanul Haque Samrat, news editor of News 24, have lost their father Tofazzal Haque.
He was tested Covid-19 positive and was 86 years old. He left five sons, two daughters, grandchildren and a large number of relatives. When Tofazzal Haque was tested Covid-19 positive, he was admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital. Later, when his condition deteriorated, he was transferred to the ICU. He died on Sunday morning while undergoing treatment.
He was buried following a prayer ceremony at the family graveyard in Kushtia on Monday. President Mursalin Nomani and General Secretary Moshiur Rahman Khan on behalf of the DRU Executive Committee have expressed deep grief over the death of Tofazzal Haque in a statement.
They expressed their deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.
