A human chain was organized by Kishoreganj District Reporters Association to protest the harassment of the Daily Prothom Alo Senior Journalist Rozina Islam and filing a false case against her.
Kishoreganj District Reporters Association’s President Md. Asraf Ali presided over the human chain.
It was addressed among others by Kishoreganj District Reporters Association's Vice-President Humayun Kabir, Ali Reza Sumon, Joint Secretary Abdur Rob, Organizing Secretary Al-Amin, Social Welfare Secretary M. Obayed Roni, ICT Secretary Mobarak Hossain, Women Affairs Secretary Lima Akter Mithu, Publicity Secretary Kamruzzaman Rasel, Journalist Sharfuddin Hossain Jibon, Bhubon, Lufor, Kishoreganj District Reporters Association’s Member Journalist Atikur Rahman Kajin, Sharier Hridoy, Tonmoy Alamgir, Humayun Kabir, Delower, Monir Hossain, Rifat Chowhdury, Fohad Hossain and others.
Kishoreganj District Reporters Association’s General Secretary Sajan Ahammed Papon, conducted the human chain.
The leaders demanded immediate withdrawal of the false case against Rozina Islam, unconditional release and trial of those responsible subject to proper investigation.
