With the ‘Fast & Furious 9’ trailer all set to release tomorrow, fans are unable to control their excitement. While actor Vin Diesel has already shared the teaser, the trailer will reveal more about the film. The popular franchise, known for its high octane chase sequences, will also have John Cena in the upcoming installment.

And in a recent interview, the WWE star-turned-actor said that although he is not at liberty to divulge too much about his ‘mysterious’ role, he has revealed that the film will give fans a ‘wonderful adrenaline shot.’
He added that the makers had built a family environment that had real people looking almost like superheroes. He added that while the first film focused on street racing, it had evolved to something much bigger now, but kept its family angle intact.

Cena said that it was a given that the makers would raise the bar every time and that fans would not be disappointed with the upcoming film. Calling it a franchise that appealed to a global audience, Cena said that the team ensured all safety measures were adhered to while filming. He said that despite how risky the stunts looked, he had no qualms about doing them.

It sees John leaning against a blue muscle car, as he is set to fill the hole left by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson after he sat this movie out. Dwanye starred in 2019’s Hobbs and Shaw alongside Jason Statham, and will not be in F9 following his reported feud with the franchise’s leading man, Vin Diesel.

John, who revealed his poster on social media, is of course not the first WWE star to have appeared in the movies, following in Dwayne’s footsteps as well as Roman Reigns who started in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw.
