Jagannath University Journalists Association (JnUJA) has got a four-member convening committee with Mahmudur Rahman Najid as convener and Md. Milon Hossain as member-secretary.
The committee was formed at an emergency general meeting at the university's Obokash Bhaban on Thursday (March 5).
As per a related notice of JnUJA, the term of the executive committee of the association 2024-25 expired on December 12, 2025 and a general meeting was called in accordance with the provisions of Section 9 (nine) of the constitution of the association. The expired committee was dissolved as per the decision of the majority of the members participating in the general meeting.
Additionally, A four-member convening committee has been formed to energize the activities of the association while dissolving the previous expired committee.
However the convener of the committee Mahamudur Rahman Nazid is university correspondent of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha and member secretary Md. Milon Hossain is university correspondent of Bangladesh Pratidin. The other two members of the committee are Mizan Uddin Masud of Daily Jayjaydin and Omar Faruk Jilon of Daily Janakantha.
