A group of Jagannath University (JnU) students of Bangla department have attended a seminar titled "Partition of 1947: Reflections on Society and Literature" at Banaras Hindu University, India.
A Bangla department Associate Professor Dr. Rajib Mondol is leading the JnU team in the three consecutive day seminar which commenced from October 30 and ended on November 2.
"This Indian university has a reputation as a research-based university. Writings of the students are published in the conference proceedings and conference journal which might be helpful for the researchers", he said.
Dr. Subir Ghosh, Convener of the seminar, "Today, my last three months of hard work are now fruitful. We have unveiled two of our books in an event, which is rare for us."
A Bangladeshi publisher Noihrita Cafe is the publisher of those books.
