Professor Dr Saiful Islam of Zoology department was appointed as the new dean of Life & Earth Science Faculty of Jagannath University.
The University Registrar Eng Wahiduzzaman said that Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mijanur Rahman appointed him to the post for the next two years.
Before that Prof Dr Saiful Islam acted as chairman for 3 times of zoology department of the University. His new appointment was made as the tenure of the previous dean Professor Dr Kazi Saifuddin concluded recently, he said.
