The government's initiative to build a digital country are going on in all the Union Parishads of Jibannagar Upazila. Marginal people are now getting necessary information from the Union Information Service Center. The way of life of grassroots people is changing with the advent of modern technology. 60 percent of the people living in this upazila, which is 32 kilometers away from the district town, are now directly benefiting from the information service center.
It is learned that the information service center is also meeting the entertainment needs of the union residents. Frequent use of fertilizers and pesticides along with modern farming techniques are being displayed on the big screen in the council buildings along with various action plans of the government. Through these activities, the awareness of the grassroots people has increased a lot, said a resident of Raipur village Tariqul Islam. He said that now it is possible to get various necessary papers from the information service center of Union Parishad with only 10 taka. Apart from this, the students are getting the opportunity to know the examination results, fill up the job application form on the internet, and admission test from the information service center of Union Parishad.
Uthli Union Parishad information service center operator Akram Hossain said that people are coming here every day to talk directly on the internet at home and abroad, print pictures, fill in college and university admission forms, laminate certificates, data entry and many other things at low cost.

Abul Kalam Azad said that the information service center is kept open from 9 am to 5 pm to reach out to the marginalized people with all kinds of technological benefits. An average of 200 people are receiving services from here every day. Jibannagar Upazila Executive Officer Ariful Islam said that regular training programs for information service entrepreneurs are continuing. Moreover, the administration is conducting regular monitoring work to ensure that the services of the grassroots people are ensured from these information service centers.
