Hundreds of transport workers under the banner of Jhenaidah bus, minibus, microbus, coach sramik union arranged a gathering on Saturday morning to press home their three-point demands including issuance of appointment letter, daily allowances as per the instruction of the government.
Organized by Jhenaidah bus, minibus, microbus, coach sramik union, the gathering wad held at Jhenaidah central bus terminal in the town with organization president Oliar Rahman in the chair.
Jatiya Sramik League Jhenaidah district unit general secretary and ex executing president Ekramul Haque Liku, general secretary Asharfuzzaman Khokan, executive president Abu Sayeed, vice chairman Amir Foysal Mohabbat, joint secretary Hanif Khan, assistant general secretary Manirul Islam, organizing
secretary Khairul Islam among others spoke.
The speakers had warned the transport owners or the employers to ensure their appoint and other documents within 72 hours, others wise to face the situation as they were ignoring the government instructions and cheating the innocent workers for decades together.
