Superintendent of police (SP) in Jhenaidah Mohammad Hasanuzzaman has distributed mask and soap as a part of their novel corona virus prevention activities.
The police official distributed the the items at Kabirpur intersection, Garaganj, Shailkua Chowrasta, Abaipur and some other parts of the district on Thursday. Day labourers, rickshaw van paddlers and low income group people were given the items from the SP.
Police super office sources said they have advising the common people to use the mask and wash their hands frequently for a healthy environment. They have been barring people not to ride more than one person on motorbikes, avoid unnecessary movement outside the house.
Superintendent of police said the awareness and distribution of mask and soap will help mild for better health. The police will continue this sort of activities until and unless the situation is brought under control throughout the country.
Additional superintendent of police Tarek Al Mehedi, detective branch (DB) officer in charge Anwar Hossain and Shailkupa police station officer in charge Bazlur Rahman among others remain present.
