Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) in Jhenaidah had organised a daylong refreshers training for the professional drivers aiming at maintain speed limit and prevent road accidents. The training course was held at BRTA training centre on Sunday.
BRTA office sources said about a hundred professional drivers of six Jhenaidah upazilas had participated in the training course.
BRTA Jhenaidah office assistant director (AD) Atiar Rahman, assistant director of the department of environment Srirup Majumder, civil surgeon office medical officer Mehedi Hasan, BRTA traffic inspector SM Sabuj conducted the training session.
The participants were trained to prevent road accidents, protect people from probable road mishaps, safe driving and other necessary components.
