Police conducted awareness campaign in Jhalokathi district town on Thursday following the outbreak of coronavirus. Superintendent of Police (SP) in Jhalokathi Fatiha Yeasmin led the campaign.
The policemen distributed leaflets among the common people at Sadhona Intersection, Poura Mini Park, College Kheyaghat, Petrol Pump Intersection and College Intersection areas in the town.
Additional Police Super Md Habibullah, Assistant Police Super Mahmudul Hasan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Jhalokathi Sadar Police Station Md Khalilur Rahman and OC of DB Police Md Ikbal Bahar Khan were present at the time, among others.
Meanwhile, three expatriates were fined Tk 25,000 each at Razapur upazila in the district for not going to home quarantine after returning in the country. However, a total of 58 people were kept in home quarantine in the district till now.
