JCI Dhaka Young celebrates book reading game

Readers Game 1.0 started with the slogan 'Back to Books'. It is a book reading competition, initiative of JCI Dhaka Young to reduce young generation addiction from the virtual world.

The prize giving ceremony of Readers Game 1.0 competition was held at Six Season in Gulshan-2 with author Sadat Hossain as the chief guest.

 He was also the main judge for this competition. Online registration for this competition began in February. Where more than two hundred contestants participated. Books were sent to all of them through book partner Rokomari.com.  Exams were taken online from books they read. The best 20 were selected as winners.

 The first 10 winners were invited and awarded in a joyous atmosphere. 1st prize winner got laptop, 2nd prize winner got smartphone, and 3rd prize tab.  All the winners were also awarded with crests and certificates.

Nazmul Hossain Shobuz, Local President of JCI Dhaka Young, Local Vice President S.M Muqtadirul Huq, Sadat Hossain and other special guests handed over the prizes to the winners.

 The five best female contestants were also specially awarded by Travel Group VromonKonna.  The main planner and coordinator of the event was Dhaka Young's Local Vice President S.M. Muqtadirul Huq. He congratulated the winners and urged everyone to read more and more books.  JCI is a voluntary organisation for young people between the ages of 18 and 40. JCI currently has 16 local chapters in Bangladesh.
