Anjuman-e-Rahmania Mainia Maizbhandaria has brought out a procession and held a peace conference in Dhaka city on the occasion of Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH). The event took place at Suhrawardy Udyan in the city on Thursday (September 28).

Sayed Saifuddin Ahmed Al Hasani Maizbhandari, chairman of Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP) and Anjuman-e-Rahmania Mainia Maizbhandaria; led the procession (Jashne Julush) and presided over the peace conference.

The procession began from the Suhrawardy Udyan and rounded Shahbag, Matsha Bhawan, Doyel Chattar, Engineers Institution.

Thousands of people have joined the event from different parts of Bangladesh. People carried national flag of Bangladesh, colorful banners, festoons, placards written Kalema Shareef, Ya Nabi Salam Alaika, Ya Rasul Salam Alaika.

In his speech, BSP chairman said, "Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the greatest blessing from Almighty Allah to the entire creations. He created the proper example of peace, equity and salvation.

The main aim of his arrival to this earth was to build a humanitarian world with peaceful coexistence of people irrespective of religion, race and other diversities. Without any bloodshed, he conquered the Mecca. He established a harmonious state ensuring rights of all kinds of people. Specially women were honoured, dignified, empowered during his rule."

Sayed Saifuddin Ahmed added that religion makes people civilised. Extremism, terrorism, violence can never be the guidance of religions. Today, there are discrimination everywhere. Intensification of apartheids conflicts, wars are rising alarmingly. Following Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in every sphere of life is the key, as he has been sent as the perfect guide for humanity. Wars, sanctions, counter sanctions are affecting innocent people all around the world directly or indirectly. Millions of people are suffering from starvation, being refugees, being deprived of basic needs. People of Syria, Palestine, Yemen are the victims of global & regional politics. Rights of Palestinians must be ensured by effective steps of global community. We deeply concerned about illegal annexation & brutality of Israelis on Palestinians. Bangladesh is always beside the people of Palestine since its independence in 1971.

Addressing global crises like war, recession, inflation, supply chain, food security, climate change is much more important now. Human dignity, rights should be given priority avoiding arms race.

"On this auspicious event of Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH), we urge all nations to contain peace policy, peaceful diplomacy to resolve various crises, following the ideology of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH),"Sayed Saifuddin Ahmed said.
