Tareq Rafi Bhuiyan, managing director of New Vision Solutions Limited, a research and consulting company of Japan called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman on Sunday at the latter’s office of the university. He was accompanied by Yuku Fukushima, executive of the same company. Professor Dr M Tariq Ahsan of the Institute of Education and Research of DU was present on this occasion.
During the meeting they stressed the need for ensuring an inclusive quality education to face global challenges. DU VC said, the university authorities are relentlessly working to produce skilled human resources to achieve sustainable development goals (SDG) by 2030.
The Japanese delegates expressed willingness to provide technical and financial supports to promote higher education and research at Professor Akhtaruzzaman thanked the guests for their keen interest in providing support to develop academic activities of DU.
