Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr Shafiqur Rahman has joined the programmes at Senakunja, organised on the occasion of the Armed Forces Day. The event took place on Thursday.
At that time, he exchanged pleasantries with BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
Nayeb-e- Ameer also former Jamaat MP Professor Mujibur Rahman, secretary general and former MP Professor Miah Golam Parwar, assistant secretary general Maulana ATM Masum, Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, assistant secretary general and former member of parliament Hamidur Rahman Azad and central executive council member Mobarak Hossain were also present.
Earlier, Dr Shafiqur Rahman’s returned to the country after wrapping up his visit to the United Kingdom (UK).
Professor Miah Golam Parwar along with other party leader received the Jamaat chief with a flower bouquet at the VIP lounge of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in morning.
Jamaat Assistant Secretary General Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair, central executive member and Dhaka South City Jamaat Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul, executive member and Dhaka North City Jamaat Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin and central executive member Mobarak Hossain were present at that time.
