IUPS gets new committee

IUPS, a photography based society of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia launched on the campus on Saturday and formed its founding committee with 26 executive members.

The newly formed association was approved by its advisers Professor Dr Shahjahan Mandal of Law department and Assistant Professor Shoriful Islam Jewel of Tourism and Hospitality Management department

The advisers approved the new body for the next year, confirmed a press release of the wing.

Enamul Kabir Raihan, a master’s student of Management department and Nasir Uddin Abir, a fourth year student of Al-Fiqh and Legal Studies department were made as founding president and Secretary respectively.

The executive members of the wing are – vice president Abdullah Al- Baki and Washim Al Aksha Abir, joint secretary Abdullah Al Mukith, office secretary Anjir Bin Azad, treasurer Tonmoy Hafiz, assistant exhibition secretary Nishat Tabassum Prapty, IT secretary Shahina Sultana Senzu, among others.

Its founding president Enamul Raihan said ‘we want to make a platform for all the photographers of the campus and we must arrange training programmes for those students who are interested in photography’.
