Like every year, Independent University Bangladesh K-Club, in collaboration with Department of Media and Communication, is once again organising Korean Festival 2020 this year. The two-day festival will be held on the university premises on 4-5 March to promote Korean culture in the country.

The festival will be inaugurated in the university foyer by IUB Vice Chancellor (Acting) Professor Milan Pagon on  Wednesday at 10am. The opening ceremony will then be followed by the ‘Dance and Music Competition’ which will take place in the auditorium. Several solo and group performers will present their dance routines and musical acts during the competition.

A ‘Language Workshop and Seminar’ has been organised on Thursday at 10:30am. Famous Youtube Vlogger Joseph Kim (aka Korean Bhai) will be present as special guest at the seminar. The workshop will be followed by film screening of ‘Exit’ at 12 pm. The festival will be concluded with a ‘Prize Giving Ceremony’ at 2pm on the second day.

The festival is open to all and outsiders can enter via Gate 1 of IUB.
