‘D’ unit admission test for Theology faculty as well as the Arabic Language and Literature department of Arts faculty was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Saturday.
The test was held at 2 different centers on the campus from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
There are 320 seats of theology faculty including Al-Quran and Islamic Studies, Dawah and Islamic Studies, Al-Hadith and Islamic Studies departments as well as the Arabic Language and Literature department of Arts faculty where every department has 80 seats.
Around 93 percent of aspirants participated in the test out of 2026 applicants, IU ‘D’ unit Coordinator and Theology faculty dean Professor Dr. A. H. N.M Ershad Ullah of Al-Quran and Islamic Studies department of the University confirmed the matter.
IU pro-vice-chancellor Prof Dr. M Mahbubur Rahman, Treasurer Prof Dr. M Alamgir Hossain Bhuiya and registrar H. M. Ali Hasan visited the centers.
