A human chain was formed on Saturday at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia demanding a fair investigation and justice for Nowrin Nusrat Snigdha’s mysterious death.
The Law and Land Management department of the University staged the demonstration at the feet of the ‘Mrittunjoyee Mujib’ moral near the main entrance to the campus. Shahida Akhtar, chairperson of the department, presided over the human chain while IU Shapla Forum general secretary Prof Dr. M Mahbubar Rahman and Assistant Professor Mahedi Hasan of the law and land management department were present.
