Professor Dr Murshid Alam of the Management department of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia has been appointed as the new hall provost of Sheikh Russel Hall of the university. IU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Shaikh Abdus Salam appointed him to the post for the next one year, an IU press release confirmed it on Saturday.
He replaced Professor Dr Debashish Sharma of the Economics department of the university. The newly appointed provost will take charge from 21st April, says the release.
