In a prestigious ceremony held at the Birshreshtha Hamidur Rahman central auditorium, Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia celebrated academic excellence by awarding 33 meritorious students from various faculties with the esteemed 'Dean’s List Award-2024'. The recipients were selected based on their exceptional performance in the undergraduate examination of the 2017-18 academic session.
Distinguished guests including IU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Shaikh Abdus Salam and Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mahbubur Rahman graced the occasion, underscoring the significance of academic achievement. Treasurer and event convener, Professor Dr. Alamgir Hossain Bhuiyan, presided over the ceremony which commenced with the recitation of the holy book and warm welcomes extended to the guests.
