The authorities of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia appointed Professor Dr Mamunur Rahman of English department as new director of the Institute of Islamic Education and Research (IIER) of the university on Sunday.
A press release signed by acting registrar HM Ali Hasan was issued in this regard. Besides, IU appointed new directors of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The authorities appointed Professor Dr Kazi Akhtar Hossain of Accounting and Information Systems department as new director of the IQAC, the press release said. IU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Shaikh Abdus Salam appointed them to the post for the next three years, said IU acting registar HM Ali Hasan.
