The results of ‘B’ unit admission tests for the first year honours courses of Islamic University in Kushtia under the academic session 2019-20 published on Tuesday.
‘B’ unit coordinator Prof Dr M Anowar Hossain handed over the results to IU vice-chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari around 2:30 pm at his office of administrative building of the university.
Among others, pro-vice chancellor Prof D M Shahinoor Rahman, acting registrar SM Abdul Latif, Economics department Chairman Prof D Debashish Sharma and Arabic language & Literature department chairman Prof Dr Mostaq MAM Munawaar Ali attended here.
Prof Dr Anowar Hossain coordinator of the unit said, a total of 2815 students obtained the pass marks in the examination.
Around 24,955 students participated for the test held on November 5 against 1065 seats.
