A mobile court fined an Italy expatriate Tk 20,000 at Nabanagar upazila in Brahmanbaria for not for defying the government’s instruction over coronavirus issue as he did not go to the home quarantine after returning home.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Nabinagar Mohammad Masum led the mobile court on Friday at Kaitola Uttar union of the upazila and issued the order against the expatriate. Later, the returnee was placed on home quarantine under police surveillance. UNO Mohammad Masum said that their drive will continue as per the government's directive to stop the spreading of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
