Islamic University masters entry tests held

The entry tests for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Masters' of Education (M.Ed) and Diploma in Library and Information Sciences of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia were held on Friday.

The admission tests were held at Mir Mosarraf Hossian academic building under the Institute of Islamic Education and Research of the university from 2:00pm to 2:30pm.

Over 382 admission seekers participated in the tests while 149 admission seekers appeared at B.Ed course against its 75 seats and 52 students at M.ed course against 50 seats.

As many as, 181 applicants appeared at diploma in Library Sciences course against 80 seats, IIER office sources confirmed.

Professor M Maher Ali, director of IIER said that the admission of the courses was held through peaceful atmosphere.

The results of the test would be published as early as possible on the university website www.iu.ac.bd, he added.
