The Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia, has warmly welcomed the newly enrolled students under 2022-23 academic sessions with various activities on the IU campus. IU Accounting and Information System, Law, English, Al-fiqh and Legal Studies, Law and Land Management, Al-Hadis and Islamic and Studies, Al-Quran and Islamic Studies, and Arabic Language and Literature department and others arranged the freshers’ reception on Saturday.
These programs were held to introduce the students to the university and its rules and regulations and with the department teachers, faculty dean, officials and others.
The IU Law department began the program with the recitation from the holy book. Law faculty dean Professor Dr Sayeda Siddika addressed the program as a chief guest while Professor Dr Reba Mondol, chairman of the Law department was in the chair. Professor Dr Selim Toha, former treasurer of the university, Professor Dr Shahjahan Mondol, Professor Dr Mahbub Bin Shahjahan, Professor Dr Rehana Parvin, Professor Dr Khandaker Touhidul Anam, and Associate Professor Dr Maksuda Akter were attending the program as special guests.
Other departments arranged these programs at various times on that day with their faculty deans, senior professors and other guests at their own department’s gallery room.
