International Women’s Day: Celebrate With Television!

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, various channels broadcast special dramas and telefilms every year. This year is no exception. Bangladesh Post presents a special feature on selected women centric dramas and telefilms. Written by A Mizan

Channel I

The broadcast will start at 7:30am with live music. At 11:30am, a special episode of ‘Hridoye Mati O Manush’ will be replayed. A special programme ‘Walton Tarokakotha’ will be aired at 12:35pm. Music programme ‘Amar Joto Gaan’ directed by Ananya Ruma will be aired at 3:05pm. Akhi Alamgir will take part in the programme. The show will be telecasted live from Channel I Studio.

Talk show ‘Rupantor’ will be aired at 5:30pm. At 6 pm, a special episode of ‘Shilpolok’ will be broadcasted. ‘Jei Radhe Shei Chul O Badhe’ will be aired at 6:25pm.


ATN Bangla

ATN Bangla has organised a number of special shows today to mark International Women’s Day. 

A special programme ‘Bonhishikha’ will be aired tonight. Queen Rahman will be conducting the programme directed by Ferdousi Ahmed Chowdhury. State Minister of Women and Children Affairs Fazilatun Nessa Indira, Social Worker and Environmentalist Khushi Kabir, Director General of Bangladesh Betar Hosne-ara- Talukder, Bangladeshi academic and Advisor of Caretaker Governmen Rasheda K Chowdhury, Musician Mita Haque and Archer Ety Khatun will be present.

Banglavision

On the occasion of International Women's Day, Drama ‘Chhelera Amon e Hoy' directed by Imraul Rafat will be aired on Banglavision tonight at 9:05pm. Nusrat Imroz Tisha, Shamim Hassan Sarkar and Monira Mithu have acted in it.

A special programme on Women’s Day titled ‘Din Protidin’ will be aired at 8:30am. Presented by Barish Haque and produced by Khairul Babu, Advisor of Caretaker Governmen Rasheda K Chowdhury will be present as chief guest. 


Ekushey TV

Ekushey Television has arranged a special drama titled ‘Shohor Bhora Kacher Kokil’. Based on the story of Faria Hussain, the drama has been directed by Chayonika Chowdhury. The drama stars Apurba, Monalisa, Richie Solomon and others.
