An International Seminar on Research in Modern Technology was held on Tuesday at the Faculty of Engineering, Comilla University (CoU).
As the keynote speaker in the seminar, the chief researcher of Japan's computer vision and lead of overseas AI development group Chyojiken Corporation was Dr. Rashedul Islam, Scientific Investigator of Genomic Data Scientist Dr. Saeed Ashiqur Rahman and associate professor of Oslo Metropolitan University and University of Oslo Safiqul Islam.Also, respected teachers of CSE and ICT department of Comilla University presented their research papers. Comilla University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A F M Abdul Moyeen was the chief guest in the seminar. Head of ICT Department at Comilla University were also present at a special guest in the seminar.
The seminar was divided into 2 sessions. First the guests expressed their views and expressions and in the second session the keynote speakers presented their new research papers.
In the speech of the chief guest, CoU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A F M Abdul Moyeen told the students, "These seminars will inspire our next generation to do research. Therefore, I would appeal to the teachers of the engineering faculty to organize such seminars regularly."
