The 53rd Inter Hall Athletics competition began at Central Play Ground of Dhaka University on Monday.
Presided over by Professor Dr. Emran kabir Chowdhury, president of the Athletics committee of the university, Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Shitesh Chandra Bachhar, professor Dr. Nizamul Haque Bhuiyan, president of the Dhaka University Teachers’ Association, DR. Asim Sarker, adviser of Physical Institute, Shahjahan Ali, director-in-charge of the Physical Institute of DU were present among others in the opening ceremony.
Vice Chancellor Dr. A.S.M. Maksud inaugurated the competition as the chief guest at the University central playground.
A total of 19 Inter Hall athletes took part in the competition.
