The two-day ‘Inter-college swimming and water polo competition-2018’ began at Rajshahi University. The competition was arranged for the 33rd times. RU pro vice chancellors professor Ananda Kumar Saha and Chowdhury Mohammod Zakaria inaugurated the competition by hoisting the national flag and releasing pigeons and balloons in the air at the university swimming poll on Monday.
Among others, the university athletics and aquatics sub committee’s president and also social faculty dean M Fakrul Islam, business faculty dean professor M Humayan Kabir, proctor professor Lutfar Rahman, public relation office administrator professor Provash Kumar Karmakar, student adviser Laila Arjuman Banu and provosts of different halls were present. Students of RU 7 halls are taking part at the competition.
