Int’l Kumbh mela will start on Jan 27 in Banshkhali

A law and order and overall coordination meeting was held at Kokdandi Rishidham premises on Monday evening to ensure a smooth and peaceful celebration of the International Rishikumbh and Kumbh Mela to be held from January 27 to February 6 at Banshkhali in Chattogram.

 Banshkhali Upazila Executive Officer Saiduzzaman Chowdhury presided over the meeting. Mohant Maharaj of Kokdandi Rishidham and Tulsi Dham Shrimat Swami Sudharsananda Puri Maharaj was present as the chief guest on the occasion.  Upazila Parishad Chairman Chowdhury Md. Ghalib Sadli was present as a special guest under the direction of Tapas Kumar Nandi, chief coordinator of International Rishikumbha and Kumbh Mela Committee.

 Kumbh Mela Udyapan Parishad President Sukumar Chowdhury spoke; General Secretary Anup Baran Das gave a welcome speech.

  Assistant Commissioner (Land) Khondkar Mahamudul Hasan, Officer-in-Charge of Banshkhali Police Station Kamal Uddin, General Secretary of Banshkhali Upazila Awami League Professor Abdul Gafur, Office Secretary of Upazila Awami League Shyamal Kanti Das, Inspector of Police (Investigation) Suman Chandra Banik, Kalipur Union Parishad Chairman ANM Shahdat Alam, Pradeep Guha, Agriculture Officer Abu Chalek, Animal Resources Officer Arif Uddin, Dr. Sakibul Hasan, Youth Development Officer Shawktuzzaman, Rural Electricity DGM Rishu Kumar Ghosh, Devbrata Bhowmik, Ansar VDP Officer Md.  Delwar Hossain, fire service station team leader Md Azadul Haque, Pranab Das, Jhuntu Kumar Das, Chotan Guha and Palash Das were present

Speakers said that everyone's sincere cooperation is needed for the smooth and beautiful completion of the International Rishikumbha and Kumbh Mela to be held from January 27 to February 6.
