The International Customs Day-2021 was celebrated at the Benapole Custom House on Tuesday.
On the occasion, Benapole Customs House has been decorated. Seminar and discussion were also held there. The events were orgnaised in a limited scale this year due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Customs Commissioner Md. Azizur Rahman presided over the discussion, while Sheikh Afil Uddin, MP from Jashore-1 constituency was present as the chief guest and Mohammad Zakir Hossain, Commissioner of Jashore Customs VAT Commissionerate was present as the keynote speaker.

Dr. Neyamul Islam, Jashore District Superintendent of Police Muhammad Ashraf Hossain, 49 BGB Battalion Commanding officer Lt Col Selim Reza, Sarsha Upazila Chairman Sirajul Haque Manju and C&F Agents Association President Mofizur Rahman Sajon were present at the discussion, among others.
Later, the chief guest handed over the crest of honour to the top 12 taxpayers.
