The International Scientific Research Conference 'International Conference on Engineering Research, Innovation and Education' is going to be organized for the 7th time by the School of Applied Sciences and Technology Faculty at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST). The research conference will begin on Thursday, January 12, and continue until Saturday.
Conference member secretary Professor Mohammad Azizul Haque said, SUST' School of Applied Sciences and Technology Faculty is going to organize the 7th International Conference on Engineering Research, Innovation and Education. 687 researchers from different universities, industries and research institutes of 10 countries including Bangladesh, USA, Canada, Germany, Australia, Italy, China, Singapore, India, Nigeria will directly participate in the conference. They will present 190 research papers. Besides, a total of 4 'key-note sessions', 4 plenary sessions, 3 invited sessions and a total of 34 technical parallel sessions will be held in the conference.
The convener of the research conference Professor Dr. Md. Ariful Islam said that the international scientific research conference is being organized on the latest developments in global engineering and technology with the aim of achieving the successful implementation of the fourth industrial revolution, prevention of energy and food crisis, reduction of global warming and the issues related to sustainable development. It will encourage young students, educators, scientists, research institutes and all to engage in higher education Which plays an important role for national development.
Meanwhile, on Thursday (January 12) at 9:30 in the morning, the opening phase will begin in the central auditorium of the university. Vice-Chancellor Professor Farid Uddin Ahmed will be present as the chief guest. AK Abdul Momen. Planning Minister MA Mannan will be present on the second day. On the other hand, the convener of the conference, Professor Dr. Md. Under the chairmanship of Ariful Islam (January 14), Vice Chancellor Professor Farid Uddin Ahmed will be present as the chief guest.
