Int’l confce on SDGs at RU December 18

Rajshahi, December 12 A two-day long 7th international conference on SDGs in Bangladesh will be held at Rajshahi University on December 18 aiming at providing a unique platform for a diverse community composed of scholars, researchers, developers, educators and practitioners.

RU Statistics Department will arrange the Data Science and SDGs Challenges, Opportunities and Realities at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed (Senate) Bhaban.

RU Statistics department teacher and also public relations office administrator professor Provash Kumar Karmakar disclosed this through a press conference held at the university on Thursday.

At the conference, two keynote, five plenary, 47 invited talks and 122 contribution talks will remain where about 400 experts from home and abroad will participate. Besides, 27 SDG stalls will be set up and a poster presentation and pre-conference workshop will be also arranged. RU Statistics Department head, Professor Golam Hossain, professors Dr Ayub Ali and Sayedur Rahman, among others, was present during the press conference.
