The teachers and students of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Wednesday observed the International Arabic Language Day-2019 amid festivity and enthusiasm on the campus.
Arabic Language and Literature department of the university observed the day securing the slogan ‘The Relevance of International Arabic Language and Artificial Intelligence.
To make the day, the department brought out a colorful procession from in front of faculty building and the procession ended in discussion programme at room 426 of the department after parading main thoroughfares of the university.
Prof Dr Ruhul Amin, former dean of the faculty present here as chief guest presided by Prof Dr M Tozammel Hossain, chairman of the department.
Prof Dr M Yousuf, chairman of Arabic department of Dhaka University (DU) was present at the discussion programme as special guest and among others Prof Dr M Nesar Uddin Ahmed, Prof Dr Mahbubur Rahman attended here.
Mentioned, the Arabic Language announced as the International Arabic Language Day by UNESCO on December 18 in 2012.
