An inmate of Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Rahim Biswas 45, son of Syed Ali Biswas.
DMCH Police Camp In-Charge Bachchu Miah said the body was kept at the morgue of the hospital. The matter has been reported to the prison authorities.
He further informed that the post-mortem will be completed after the completion of his forensic report in the presence of an executive magistrate. The body will be handed over to the family after the post-mortem.
