The Communist Party of China (CPC), known in common parlance as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), has been Carrying a great significance in the history of mankind. The CPC was founded in 1 July, 1921 mainly by Chen Duxiu and Li Dazhao and others. The main achievement of the CPC was the creation of the People’s Republic of China through the people’s revolution under the leadership of Mao Zedong. Mao Zedong, known as Chairman Mao, was a founding father of the People's Republic of China, which he ruled as the chairman of the Communist Party of China since its establishment in 1949 until his death in 1976.
The CPC has been working for the economic emancipation and rule of the working class by establishing communism. After a long journey CPC created a wonderful history of advancing civilization and social progress that crosses 100 years in July 2021. Running party government for more than 70 years is also a great achievement by a political party in the world history. As of 2020, the CPC is the largest political party in the world.
Indoctrinated by the Marxist theory of Vladimir Lenin, the CPC continued its journey and after a long struggle China had achieved its independence in 1949. Immediately after the independence, the Communist Party of China under the leadership of Mao Zedong and Chou en Lie started a nation building work. Because of their strong ideological faith and total devotion to the cause, they have been successful in making China a great nation.
China has created a novel history in making a marked progress in
the political, social and economic fields under the guidance of the
CPC despite tremendous pressures and challenges from its global
competitors. It has also successfully managed to achieve its development
goal under the charismatic leadership of Communist Party of China.
Over the decades of journey, the CPC has produced quite a number of world famous and most sagacious leaders like Deng Xiaoping and the current President Xi Jinping, who is getting his people ready to give a befitting reply to their counterparts. It is popularly said that Mao Zedong brought independence and Deng Xiaoping has given economic prosperity through his open door policy.
The 100 years of history of the Communist of Party China is a history of struggle for the development of China and its people. Communist Party of China has a long history of cooperation with the people of Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. Much earlier before the Partition of Indian subcontinent, the CPC maintained political relationship with the parties in the Indian subcontinent. Quite a number of world famous communist leaders have strong relations and political affiliation with the Chinese Communist Party. Once, the West Bengal’s Left Front, which ruled West Bengal for several decades, was dominated by the China- leaning parties in India. It was a fashion and also a craze among the young people of India, Bangladesh and Pakistan to become a believer in progressive (means the believer in communist ideals) politics.

Trade war and economic blockage including the ban on Chinese giant companies have shaken the economic progress. The ongoing Corona Pandemic, which China fought successfully, has created a formidable pause in the economic growth, but the Chinese economic advancement and high tech combat technology are said to be growing rapidly keeping the future challenges with the eyes open. China has an obligation to protect its trade and commerce and business installations around the world, and had declared in 2010 that they had legal obligation to protect the Chinese business and facilities around the world.
Despite enormous challenges before them China has been keeping its exports increasing and developing its business and cooperation in new destinations in the world. After saturation of exports in Europe and America, China has relocated its trade and commerce from Asia to Middle East, Middle East to Africa as well. It is a very positive sign for China that almost all the people of the world are dependent on Chinese products. China has exerted a great influence in the economic development of the world. And credit goes to the Chinese Communist Party, because of the timely decision taken by the CPC, when the free trade and globalization have swept across the world.
The charisma of Chinese leadership is that they are coping with a vast population successfully; nobody is starving, rather the Chinese people have greatly changed their lot over the decades. And the young Chinese have become a formidable force for meeting the challenges of the 21st century. Once the vast Chinese population was a serious burden and it was a serious challenge to manage. The Chinese leadership have successfully meet their basic needs and in course of time the government under the Communist Party of China has made the vast population as skilled manpower and this manpower has become the country’s main growth engine for economic development. The hard working and skilled Chinese are engaged in doing business and services in most of the countries of the world.
China is a country quite different from Russia. Though the two countries are the forerunners of the communist movement in the world, lavish and luxurious life style of the Russian Communist Party led to the collapse of the Soviet Union. On the contrary, the sagacious leadership of the Chinese leader Deng Xiao Ping had given Communist Party of China a new lease of life. His open door policy has taken Chinese economy to the pinnacle of its success. The main reason behind the success is that the Communist Party of China has strictly maintained party discipline and honesty. Anti-corruption drive by the government of CPC has become a regular phenomenon. Quite a number of high profile government and party leaders have been brought under corruption charges and many of them have lost their position and some of them have been put in jail.
Chinese people are, by nature, hardworking and dedicated to their jobs. Chinese traditions and cultural heritage is old and enriched with variety of creativity. The products of Chinese small and cottage industries and the handicraft have played a crucial role in bringing China to the global community. About seven hundred billion people are using Chinese products regularly. Because of its relatively cheap and skilled laborers, China’s production cost is much lower than that of the other developed nation. So, it is really difficult to contest the forward march of the Chinese economy.
