Indian national held with hundi money in Benapole

An Indian national arrested along with 2 lakh hundi taka from Benapole check post area on Thursday morning. 

The arrestee was identified as Arjun Biswas, 26, son of Arvind Biswas of Bonga thana at Kacher Bazar area of  North 24 Pargona district in West Bengal of India.

Lt Col Salim Reja, commanding officer of 49 Border Guard Bangladesh, said that the suspect was arrested from Benapole check post after getting secret information. Later, BGB recovered two lakh hundi taka after searching his body. During this interrogation, he claimed that he was an Indian national .

The hundi trader was handed over to Benapole Port Police Station with a case filed against him under illegal entry law.
