Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has seized illegal Indian mobile phone display from Phulbari upazila in Kurigram district on Tuesday.
According to BGB, acting on a tip-off, a team of BGB-15 battalion under Anantapur camp conducted a raid at Nagrajpur area under the upazila at 12:30 PM on Tuesday.
During the raid, some suspect individuals fled from the spot, and BGB seized 284 pieces of mobile phone displays worth Tk 8 lakh 52,000 from the spot.
Lalmonirhat BGB-15 battalion commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel Mehedi Imam confirmed the incident.
