India’s role lauded for gifting Covid-19 vaccine

Bangladesh National Awami Party (Bangladesh NAP) has applauded the Government of India and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for gifting two million doses of Corona Virus Vaccine to the people of Bangladesh.

In a statement sent to the media, Chairman of the party Jebel Rahman Ghaani and Secretary General M Golam Mostafa Bhuiyan greeted and applauded the Government and people of India.

They said that the people of Bangladesh would remember with gratitude the gift of vaccine from the Government of India during the ongoing Corona crisis.

The leaders said, this vaccine named ‘Covishield’ was invented by Oxford AstraZeneca and was developed by Serum Institute in India. This vaccine will make a significant contribution to global humanitarian efforts to prevent corona virus. They believe that Bangladesh's friendly relationship with India has become stronger through this generous gesture of Indian Government.
