Small entrepreneurs of Raipur upazila have received incentives from Raipur upazila administration and Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB) in Lakshmipur district. 12 entrepreneurs on Thursday received a total of 12.5 lakh Tk under the incentive package of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the small entrepreneurs of the country who faced loss during nationwide lockdown.
Presided by Raipur UNO Sabrin Chowdhury, Lakshmipur- MP Nuruddin Chowdhury Noyon on Thursday attended the programme as the chief guest. Raipur upazila chairman Mamunur Rashid, Raipur municipality mayor Giyas Uddin Rubel, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Ismail Hossain Khokon, Lakshmipur BRDB Deputy Director Sadhna Rani Debnath, Raipur upazila BRDB chairman Syeduzzaman Mollah and other were also present during the programme.
Speakers during the programme said that government is trying to help the small businessmen and entrepreneurs across nationwide to start their business again.
