Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Department (IMED) Secretary Abul Kashem Mohiuddin paid homage at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara, Gopalganj.
On reaching Tungipara on Friday afternoon, he paid deep respects by placing wreaths at the altar of Bangabandhu Samadhisoudh. Secretary's wife Mrs. Selina Afroz was present as a companion.
Gopalganj Roads and Highways Department Additional Chief Engineer Suruj Mia, Supervising Engineer Tapsee Das, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Golam Kabir, Gopalganj Roads and Highways Department Executive Engineer Mohammad Zahid Hossain, Tungipara Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mir Kamruzzaman Kabir, Gopalganj Kumaresh Biswas, Sub-Divisional Engineer of Roads and Highways Department and others were present.
Later, after reciting the holy Fateha, he offered special prayers and prayers for Bangabandhu's daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's good health and long life, seeking forgiveness for the souls of Bangabandhu and all the martyrs killed in his family.
