Iftar items selling at lower prices in Chuadanga Police Lines

A seven-day long sale of iftar items at half prices of market value among marginal women of Chuadanga district has started under the asupices of Police Nari Kalyan Samity at Police Lines in Chuadanga town from March 17. 

Jannatul Ferdous, President of Police Nari Kalyan Samity and RM Foyzur Rahman, Superintendent of Police inaugurated the programme. 

At least 10 iftar items are being sold at the programme. Rice is being sold at Tk 25 per kg, dal at Tk 40, edible oil at Tk 80 per kg, sugar at Tk 68, potato at Tk. 15, onion at Tk 28 per kg, chhola at Tk 50, muri at Tk 64, beson at Tk 45 and khejur at Tk 85 per kg. 

Jannatul Ferdous, President of Police Nari Kalyan Samity and wife of RM Foyjur Rahman, Superintendent of Police, said that this organization has stand by the side of the poor and marginal women in the Ramadan month and is selling the iftar items among them at lower prices. 

RM Foyzur Rahamn, Superintendent of Police and adviser to the samity said, marginal women do not get assistance from other persons, but they have need, in this position Police Nari Kalyan Samity including Chuadanga Police has extended their assistance in Ramadan month, it is rememberable.
