The meeting to review the implementation of the Annual Development Program (ADP) for the month of January 2021-22 of the Department of Information and Communication Technology was held at the meeting platform on Monday afternoon. State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak was present at the meeting online. The meeting was chaired by NM Ziaul Alam, Senior Secretary, Department of Information and Communication Technology.
The meeting discussed in detail the implementation plans of the projects undertaken by the ICT department in the current financial year, achievement of real and financial targets based on the month, decisions taken and recruitment of manpower. The heads of the agencies and the project managers present the implementation plans of their respective projects and the latest progress at the meeting. It is to be mentioned that in the current financial year, a total of 1 thousand 452 crore 71 lakh taka has been allocated for 27 projects including 3 technical ones under ICT department.
It was informed in the meeting that the progress of ICT department projects on the basis of project based financial allocation till January 2022 is 38.35 percent. The Minister of State instructed the concerned persons including the project director to ensure 100% speedy progress of projects and complete the work on time while maintaining quality as per the work plan.
